Joined Basket #018 Babushka

19 11 2011

Anna and I went to Copenhagen Tivoli gardens to enjoy this years’ Christmas decorations. They were in Russian style. We admired the onion domes and loved the Babushkas.

This Babushka basket is made from 6 pieces in different colours. Arrange them in two sets of three and join. You may feel like adding just a little bit of glue here and there to keep everything in place.

And files for cutting: babush cut 1 ; babush cut 2 ; babush cut 3 ; babush cut 4 ; babush cut 5 ; babush cut 6

Thank you Pam. I can see from your blog, that you are fond of these dolls. Your Matryoshka ornament is delightful.

Thank you for the lovely compliment on my Matryoshka. I just found your sweet reply when I came over to download the templates for the basket. I am trying out in printer paper first and coloring in the designs!

Wishing you a lovely and happy Christmas season.

Thank you for posting your wonderful projects.I will definitely give this a try. It looks as though I should be able to hand cut it. Unfortunately my Cricut won’t allow me to cut these patterns. I’ve hand cut before so I know I can do it.
