Like Barcelona Teddy bans bullfighting. But he definitely likes the outfit.

Teddy and I went to Barcelona to check out the progress on the Sagrada Familia and to search for inspiration. We went to the top of the towers and froze with fear as we went down the winding staircases. But when Teddy saw the beautiful fat silks and elaborate fans he was completely lost. He could not tear himself away from the tiny shops in the old town centre. At the flee market he persuaded me to buy a set of old iron tools for making silk flowers. Going back home to Denmark was an unplanned exploit. Due to the volcanic ashes from Iceland we had to make do with the means of transportation we could find. We spend 33 hours going by bus. At such times it is good to be accompanied by a cheerful friend like Teddy.

Teddy Lucia

A splendid fashion show must end with an outfit for a Bride. Teddy has always dreamt of being a beautiful Lucia Bride with candles in his long golden hair…..this is all right for Teddy, but you should never use real candles….

Saint Lucia’s Day is the Church feast day dedicated to St. Lucy and is observed on December 13. In traditional celebrations, Saint Lucia comes as a young woman with lights and sweets. It is one of the few saint days observed in Scandinavia. In some forms, a procession is headed by one girl wearing a crown of candles or lights.

Teddy Goodnight

Teddy is very fond of his pyjamas and cozy old slippers. But he will not wear the slippers when he sleeps.   

 

Winter Teddy

It’s very cold outside and there will be loads of snow by tomorrow. Teddy has found his warm winter coat and soft hat with tassels…. He looks like a small pixie.

It was quite some time since I made Teddy. I just realised he came in various resolutions. This should be fixed now for the entire wardrobe.
