Flag Garlands

These flag garlands are very simple to make. You need paper (size A4; weight 80 g/m2 – 120 g/m2) in the colours you prefer and a piece of string. Cut out the flags you like best. You need to cut out two pieces same shape for each flag.

Garland #008 is woven in the same way as Heart Garland #005. Fix the two pieces with glue for an exact fit at the upper edge. Strips pointing in different directions. Weave and fix with glue. You only need to fix the diamond at the point.

Garland #010 is joined in the same way as Heart Garland #007. Take care not to crease the strips. No glue is needed. The string will keep everything together.

  1. “Kod Flag” – to zwyczaj w żegludze z okazji nadzwyczajnych wydarzeń. Wywiesza się też “Kod Flag” z okazji np. świąt. Gratuluję pomysłu i serdecznie pozdrawiam.

  2. what a fantastic garland set of patterns. Thank you so much for sharing this great project. I’ll be making several of these for my kid’s birthday. Thanks again!!

  3. Hello, Neat post. There’s a problem along with your web site in internet explorer, might check this? IE still is the market chief and a big component of other folks will leave out your magnificent writing due to this problem.

    • Thank you for your comment. It is not something I can fix, but I can tell you what the problem is and what to do, to get around it. It is Microsoft Explorer that is not facilitating all the new features WordPress uses. To view the posts properly you need to install another (modern they say) browser like e.g. Google Chrome. That will work for you. I for my part cannot import pictures to make the Posts using Microsoft Explorer anymore. And yet Explorer supports nice features in Post construction, that other browsers do not. This means that I have to shift between the two browsers when writing the Posts. Lene
